“I am so happy that under the enlightened government of Raul Castro, Cubans can now have access to hotels, resorts and other facilities as long as they pay for it.
This is in addition to the news that they can buy computers, DVD players and are even able to have their own cell phones.
And all, this according to a Cuban resident, is ‘good, really good.’
I imagine that the fact that the computers cannot be connected to the Internet, the phones cannot be used to call long distance and that the DVD players will have to wait for a DVD sent by relatives in the United States also does not matter.
I can hardly wait for the next announcement from Raul Castro: Effective next Monday, all can apply for a credit card that will never be issued.”
